Every child has a chance - It's You!
Voices for Children - Court Appointed Special Advocates is an organization of volunteer advocates who advocate on behalf of children who have experienced abuse or neglect because they want them to have a brighter, more hopeful future than their past. Voices for Children serves Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, and Madison Counties.
From our original class of eight advocates in 2001, we have grown to a volunteer network of over 200 community members who worked with 476 children in 2020, alone. CASAs are appointed to assist a child or sibling set who have been placed in the state’s custody. They provide detailed information necessary for judges to safeguard the children’s best interests and ensure they are placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.
Ultimately, CASAs are a constant for children whose lives can be so turbulent.
